It was a long night but Oscar’s definitely better. Up every 45 min w coughing fits but medically far better than he has been in a week. No fever, tolerated 2 oz mini feeds every two hours overnight with no vomiting. Our fighter earned his moniker by ripping the IV out of his foot while I held him. I almost passed out. It was a LOT of blood.
Drs just did rounds and turned down his O2 to see how he does. So far he’s satting 98 which is amazing. To be discharged he has to breathe well on his own, tolerate feeds, and not run a fever. Praying we get to come home tonight.
